Pick up from Srinagar airport & Transfer Hotel / Houseboat as Applicable. After Breakfast full day Visit Mughal Gardens “Nishat” (The Garden of Pleasure) and “Shalimar” (Abode of All) and Chesma Shahi (Royal Spring).Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard .On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty Silken carpets, shawls, jewellery ornaments. In second half day Visit Shankracharya Temple. Overnight stay at the Hotel as Applicable.
After Breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg called as “Meadow of Flowers” . Gulmarg is 52 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. You can enjoy a Pony ride (Optional At your own cost). Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori (12,293 ft) first stage and Affarwat Peak (13,780 ft) second Stage on a Cable Car Ride (Optional At your own cost) .By evening return to Srinagar. In Evening enjoy a Shikara Ride in Dal Lake and witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Also see the scenic extravaganza of the Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colors in the Paradise on Earth. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machine & wood of a walnut. Overnight stay at the Deluxe Houseboat.
After Breakfast Transfer for full Day excursion of Pahalgam called as “Valley of Shepherds”. In Pahalgam, Enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. By evening return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at the Deluxe Houseboat.
After breakfast leave for Kargil, driving through Sonamarg and crossing the Zoji-la pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 mtrs) en-route. Drass, the first town over the pass is famous as the 2nd coldest inhabited place in the world. About an hour’s drive down the valley from Drass is Kargil, 2nd largest town of Ladakh and headquarters of Kargil district. Overnight in the hotel at Kargil.
In the morning leave for Leh, enroute viewing / visiting the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland” hills forming its backdrop. Driving further on along the Indus, visit Sanagm (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara & Hall of Fame (museum of military heritage). Reach Leh in the evening. Overnight in hotel.
After breakfast, proceed on sightseeing tour of Shey Palace and its associated Gompa housing the gigantic copper-gilt statue of the Buddha, then the 12-storied Thiksey Monastery dating from the 16th century, and finally the 17th century Hemis Monastery, biggest in Ladakh. In the late afternoon, drive to visit the 9-storey Leh Palace built by King Singge Namgyal in 1600 AD, and thereafter explore the markets. Overnight at the hotel.
After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft. / 5486 meters), 3rd highest motorable pass in the world. Pangong Lake (alt: 14,500 ft.), largest brackish water lake of Asia, is 4-5 kms wide and about 135 kms long of which about two-third portion lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. After sightseeing at the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast leave for the Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motorable pass in the world. From the pass you can enjoy spectacular views of the Zanskar range across the Indus Valley in the south, and the Saser massif in the north. after sightseeing back to Leh
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
