Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar & proceed to Sonamarg
Arrive at Srinagar airport & transfer to Sonamarg. The distance of about 83 Kms will be covered about 2-½ to 03 hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes .Overnight in Sonamarg.
DAY 02 : SONAMARG — Neelgrath — Panchatarni — Sonamarg — Srinagar
After breakfast a short drive of 3 Kms will take you to Neelgrath (Helipad)Neelgrath- Panjtarni -Neelgrath helicopter ride. The Helicopter started operating at 06.00 Hrs (Weather Permitting). Panchtarni is approx 6 Kms from Holy Cave, you can go there by walk or can hire Palki/Pony. After darshan return back to Sonamarg & drive for Srinagar for an overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Srinagar Local Sightseeing’s
After breakfast checkout from hotel & take a visit to Shankaracharya Temple, It is believed that it was the place where the great philosopher and saint Shankaracharya stayed when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanathan Dharma. The original ceiling was dome- shaped and the brick roof is not more than a century old. In the afternoon, we took a visit to Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa & Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring). The Chashmashahi Mughal garden in Srinagar had been loved by emperors and picnickers alike. In the evening you take a shikara ride on world famous Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 4 DEPARTURE FROM SRINAGAR
Today in time please set foot for Srinagar airport to board an onward flight by reporting 2-Hrs. Before departure time at Srinagar airport, with sweet memories of Kashmir Valley.
